liturgy of the word for children
The Liturgy of the Word for Children is offered at the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays for children in 4-year-old preschool through 2nd grade. After the opening prayer of the Mass, the children will be dismissed with a leader to share the Liturgy of the Word. This will include a reading of the scriptures for the day from the Children's Lectionary, a homily for children, a profession of faith and intercessions. The children will return to the Mass at the time of the Preparation of the Gifts.
